SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a Account Manager to join our team and be a key player in driving our business & supporting our client within the MEA markets on packaging as well as growth categories. Your primary objective is to provide exceptional service that aligns seamlessly with both tms and client's overarching strategic framework. This role is client facing and you would join a small and dynamic team which is part of a larger, globally operating company.
Your responsibilities encompass the end-to-end project management and execution of local packaging projects in MEA markets for our client. This includes every stage of the planning and production process, from concept development, feasibility assessment, scenario building, all the way through to final execution, implementation, launch, and post-analysis for the MEA markets.
The Account Manager reports to the Senior Account Manager -MEA and this role is based in the tms Dubai Office. The individual in this role will join a highly motivated team in charge of managing the packaging of one of the biggest world's brand, at a moment in time where meeting challenges around packaging and sustainability improvements has never been so important.
Key job functions include:
  • Identify and meet customer needs and increase perceived tms' value.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the key stake holders internally and externally.
  • Understand and proactively support customer business strategies.
  • Constantly seek best packaging solutions to answer the needs of our client.
  • Regularly review and challenge common processes and propose improvements.
  • Ensure assured packaging supply and manage day to day requirements
  • Lead multiple packaging projects
  • Keep clear overview of all activities happening and issue regular reports and presentations.

Client Relationship Management
Provide regular updates and project visibility to client teams, on all packaging-related matters.
Project Management
- Lead packaging initiatives from briefing to execution, ensuring alignment with client's strategic goals.
- Track and manage project timelines, deliverables, and approvals.
Internal Cross-Functional Alignment
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g. supply chain, regulatory, artwork, commercial) to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure stakeholders are aligned on priorities and progress.
Artwork & Technical Oversight
- Oversee artwork development and approval in accordance with client's processes.
- Ensure packaging specs, mandatories, and print guidelines are followed accurately.
Market Execution Support (GCC)
- Support packaging execution across all MEA markets.
- Work with local distribution centers (DCs), marketing, and operations teams on packaging trials, rollouts, and transitions.
Sustainability & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure packaging initiatives comply with client's global sustainability goals and local regulatory requirements.
Inventory & Transition Planning
- Align with internal teams to manage old inventory and ensure smooth transitions to new packaging.
- Provide oversight on stock depletion plans and avoid surplus.
Cost & Value Optimization
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to drive cost efficiencies without compromising brand or quality.
Reporting & Documentation
- Actively manage tracking of project status, decisions, and approvals.
- Provide structured updates to both client's and internal leadership including internal teams associated with the market.

  • Client Satisfaction and Relationship Management : Prioritize client satisfaction and oversee the health of our relationships with all stakeholders. Take a proactive approach to address challenges and develop comprehensive plans to enhance client engagement and loyalty.
  • Strengthening Customer Relationships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with all local stakeholders across client's Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, Communication and local franchisees when possible.
  • Solidify our position as a strategic and valued partner.
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Collaborate effectively with clients' and tms' functions to resolve complex issues between different departments, ensuring seamless operations and reinforcing our commitment to delivering value.
  • Business Growth Initiatives: Identify and pursue growth opportunities in collaboration with client. Proactively propose innovative services and strategically expand existing categories to capitalize on market potential and foster growth.
  • Provide regular feedback: to your line manager and align with them on key decisions.
