FREELANCE ACCOUNT MANAGER

We have a Freelance Account Manager opening in our San Francisco office effective immediately. Ideally, this would be a hybrid position. We would like the person we hire to be able to come into our downtown San Francisco office three days a week—Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of advertising-agency experience and will be at the Account Supervisor level—or the equivalent.

The Freelance Account Manager we hire will possess the following:

Proactively lead the development process from ideas through execution

Write and present clearly and persuasively

Champion great creative work 

Be a well-liked, trusted and empathetic partner to clients

Have the experience to handle client meetings and have some production experience

Stay positive, calm, objective and professional in high-pressure situations

Take accountability to navigate and communicate timelines and deliverables

Qualifications:

You must have prior full-service advertising-agency experience, having worked in account management with client contact.

You have experience with production across a variety of platforms.

Regarding compensation, the range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as a full-time employee of Goodby Silverstein & Partners in the United States. As this is a freelance role, we will pay the day rate equivalent of an Account Manager's salary. Salaries will vary on the basis of various factors, including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire. Given that this is a senior Account Manager role, we expect that you will be near the top end of this range.

$85,000–$100,000
