KYTX has an opening for an Account Manager to join our dynamic forward-thinking sales team. We’re looking for a driven candidate to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of accounts with team members as well as for someone who can influence and drive sales by providing superior client service and support. We are seeking a candidate who has a demonstrated ability to align TEGNA’s multimedia solutions with our customers’ marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to Account Executives on pre-sale and post-sale activity including campaign implementation, maintenance, and review.
• Daily interaction with existing advertising agencies and direct clients; this responsibility includes maintenance of client schedules on television in addition to implementation of special projects and promotions.
• Works in tandem with Account Executives and Creative Services to support client needs.
• Attends sales meetings and trainings to obtain sales, product and process information and keep abreast of company products and services to articulate to client, when appropriate.
• Partners with Account Executives in identifying new/incremental revenue based on campaign results.
• Assists Account Executives with building presentations, calculating formulas for impressions and prices, recapping TV and digital campaigns, and overall customer service.
• Regular tracking of client audience delivery using Comscore ratings, impressions, and campaign fulfillment.
• Communication of delivery to clients.
• Able to make decisions and solve problems independently to support customer needs.
• Self-motivation and willingness to work as a team player are essential attributes. Creativity, flexibility, and ability to change with our industry are also keys to success.
• Take ownership of fulfillment in such a way that the AE can play their role of being client-facing, creating opportunities and closing revenue.
Requirements:
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure.
• Ability to effectively solve problems.
• Creative and able to adapt quickly to change.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
• Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management.
