As an Account Manager at Vibrent Health, you will grow account revenue with existing clients. You will create and manage strategic account plans for each of your named accounts, build a solid sales pipeline and own both the sales process and client relationships to ensure consistent delivery of revenue targets. To be successful, you must be able to effectively share Vibrent Health’s value proposition in consultative conversations with the research community to demonstrate how a collaborative partnership enhances research outcomes. It will be your responsibility to help identify additional researcher needs, understand broader client programs, and recognize how Vibrent provided tools and research services can provide effective solutions. Our clients are doing human subject cohort research across such areas as population health, cancer screening, genomics, rare disease, oncology and digital health.
You will have a proven track record of identifying and closing revenue opportunities with existing academic medical center customers and clear metrics demonstrating annual growth of accounts. Critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks will be essential in order to excel in this role. Also important will be your ability and willingness to put the broader success of the company first and work cross-functionally to ensure that Vibrent achieves its collective goals. You will travel to meet clients on site, meet their research colleagues and develop and deliver content to highlight Vibrent Health’s research capabilities.
Vibrent Health is a remote-first company, and you will be equipped to work remotely from your location. Candidates in the Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Southern California and New York City metro areas will receive priority. This role will require travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop a plan to build a sales pipeline for your named accounts and develop through all funnel stages to ensure quarterly and annual revenue targets are achieved.
- Follow-up on existing leads and directly identify your own potential opportunities.
- Meet or exceed your quota; you’ll be hungry to overachieve and be well compensated for doing so
- Understand and communicate the value of data in health research
- Focus on developing and progressing strategic accounts to meet or exceed quotas
- Effectively engage and collaborate with internal and client resources to achieve revenue goals
- Serve as a trusted advisor to existing clients —understand their needs and aid in building out their research study strategy and expand the use of Vibrent Health with other research programs
- Manage opportunities effectively through the various stages of the sale pipeline and communicate progress internally through maintaining up-to-date records in the CRM platform.
- Interface to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management
- Provide reports on established KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in health sciences, communications, or business; MPH preferred
- 3 years of experience in a revenue generating account management role with academic medical centers
- 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience with health research methodologies, digital health technologies, and digital clinical trials
- Demonstrated success in expanding business with current academic medical center clients in a SaaS business model
- Strong “closer” with successful track record of coordinating a complex sales process from initial contact to signature, including the ability to negotiate through complex agreements
- Demonstrable critical thinking and analytical skills
- Highly skilled in Salesforce usage for pipeline management
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of disparate information, qualitative and quantitative, and distill them for different audience segments in clear and effective ways
- Strong interpersonal skills—you operate with high levels of humility, empathy, and integrity and are willing to put team above self, acting like a leader in all situations
- Strong bias to action with an ability to quickly prioritize
- Works well under deadlines and tight schedules and isn’t intimidated by dealing with large problem space
- Comfort level reporting to C-level leadership about account plans, forecasting, and pipeline growth.
