Position Overview:-
The Account Manager owns and supports the full client lifecycle across a $1M to $3M account portfolio, serving as a trusted client partner and working closely with internal delivery, marketing, and technology teams.
This role helps clients translate business priorities into actionable digital initiatives across CRM, marketing automation, commerce, analytics, digital experience, and related enterprise platforms. The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, supporting account growth, ensuring delivery alignment, and identifying opportunities to create measurable value for clients.
Location:-
This is a hybrid role with some work-from-home flexibility. Preference will be given to candidates in the Greater Toronto Area, as the role follows a three-day-per-week in-office schedule to support collaboration, workshops, and client engagement.
Travel to client and partner offices is required.
Core Responsibilities:-
Portfolio Management: Own and support 4–6 key client relationships, managing a portfolio of approximately $1M to $3M while overseeing budgets, contracts, invoicing, account performance, client satisfaction, and escalations.
Client Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, understand their business priorities, and translate requirements into clear digital and technology initiatives.
Strategic Account Planning: Support and lead Quarterly Business Reviews, account planning sessions, and the development of short- and long-term marketing and technology roadmaps aligned to measurable client outcomes.
Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner with engineering, marketing, strategy, and delivery teams to define scope, milestones, budgets, timelines, dependencies, and client expectations.
Commercial Growth: Work with Business Development and Client Services leadership to identify account expansion opportunities, support proposals and Statements of Work, and contribute to profitable account growth.
Account Health & Risk Management: Proactively identify delivery, relationship, commercial, and timeline risks and coordinate with internal teams to address issues before they impact client satisfaction.
Operational Discipline: Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline health in HubSpot to support transparent reporting, resource forecasting, revenue visibility, and account risk management.
Technical Platform Ecosystem:-
The Account Manager should bring strong conceptual awareness of enterprise technology and digital marketing platforms and be comfortable working with specialist teams to guide client conversations across the following areas:
Enterprise CRM & Automation: Support clients using Salesforce and related platforms to improve lead generation, audience management, customer engagement, and pipeline efficiency.
Digital Experience & Content: Support Adobe Experience Cloud, CMS, web, and digital experience initiatives designed to create consistent customer experiences across web, mobile, and digital channels.
Composable Commerce: Develop an understanding of API-first and headless commerce strategies, including platforms such as CommerceTools, to support flexible and scalable digital storefronts.
Data Analytics & Insights: Use analytics platforms, including Google Analytics, to understand performance, support reporting models, and identify data-backed optimization opportunities.
Search & Performance Marketing: Support client conversations and recommendations across SEO, AEO, paid media strategy, campaign activation, and ongoing optimization.
What You’ll Bring:-
Professional Experience: 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in account management, client services, technology consulting, digital marketing, or an enterprise agency environment.
Account Management Experience: Demonstrated experience managing client accounts, budgets, project portfolios, and multiple workstreams, ideally within a $1M+ portfolio or enterprise client environment.
Technical Fluency: Experience working with enterprise-scale web applications, cloud solutions, systems integrations, marketing technologies, or digital platforms.
Client Communication: Strong communication, presentation, business analysis, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work confidently with senior client stakeholders.
Commercial Awareness: An understanding of budgets, Statements of Work, resource planning, account profitability, and identifying opportunities for organic account growth.
Client Advocacy: Ability to navigate matrixed client organizations and convert ambiguous requirements into structured actions and delivery plans.
Solution Orientation: A results-driven mindset focused on delivering value, strengthening client relationships, and exceeding expectations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Salary Range:- $80,000-$90,000
