The Account Manager will, with direction from the Travel & Operations Manager, APAC, play a key role in building and developing Travel Risk Rating client’s capabilities and revenue, in addition to maintaining relationships with the international sales and marketing teams to provide a world-class service delivery capability.

Responsibilities

•    The Account Manager will deliver against the business plan targets and implement measures to ensure an appropriate communication flow with colleagues based in the UK and Asia to ensure cohesive client management, fulfilment of strategy and alignment of business processes. The Account Manager will deliver a professional and high standard of customer service at all times ensuring all contractual obligations are met and adhered to.

Client Account Management and Liaison

The ongoing management of our existing client base in Australia and New Zealand is an integral part of what we do and a key component of our retention strategy. Client engagement through meetings and communications is critical to our success. The Account Manager will take ownership of this as well as identifying and exploring new opportunities to strengthen our partnerships and/or provide additional services to our existing client base.

Team and Service Co-ordination

Working closely with our growing team, ensuring that all aspects of client relationships (integrations, queries, updates, finances etc.) are handled professionally and efficiently.

The primary responsibilities of the role are:
•    Developing an in-depth knowledge of current clients, key stakeholders and decision makers, ensuring regular, ongoing contact with all clients is maintained.
•    In collaboration with the Travel & Operations Manager, APAC support & manages the onboarding process for new clients, including integration support, account setup and preparation of service agreements in liaison with the Travel & Operations Manager, APAC and Verisk Legal department.
•    With guidance from the Travel & Operations Manager, APAC ensures that all contractual obligations are met (where appropriate with guidance from our lawyers).
•    Working with existing clients and senior stakeholders to manage relationships and nurture further business opportunities, in particular cross-selling / international capabilities across Risk Rating.
•    Liaising with both local and international colleagues to create a coordinated approach to account
management, ensuring alignment of Risk Rating’s multi-product and international capabilities.
•    Remaining abreast of market demands and competitor capabilities to identify probable future requirements / business needs and areas for internal R&D work.
•    Being responsible for the management of all client contracts; identifying risks and opportunities for the business and ensuring contract terms are applied.
•    Utilizing the Verisk wide CRM solution (Salesforce.com) for all account related information.
•    Working closely with the Verisk marketing team to understand the regional marketing strategy and ensure its successful implementation.
•    Participation in ad hoc projects as directed by LH&T senior management.

Qualifications

We are looking for a personable, confident, credible individual with the following skills / areas of expertise:

•    2 -3 years’ experience in account or relationship management, ideally within the travel insurance industry.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
•    Commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
•    Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders, including colleagues in different time zones.
•    Strong presentation skills, including the ability to confidently support discussions with senior stakeholders and executives.
•    Calm, diplomatic and self-aware approach to client and internal stakeholder engagement.
•    Ability to analyse data and identify trends.
•    Self-sufficient with a high degree of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
