Account Manager, UK & International

About Incisive Health

Incisive Health is an award-winning healthcare policy, public affairs and communications consultancy operating across the UK, Europe and International markets. We design and deliver programmes that shape policy, influence decision-making and, ultimately, improve the lives of people living with different conditions. Our work supports clients to navigate complex policy environments and achieve meaningful change for populations worldwide.

We are part of Inizio, a global partner to the life sciences industry. Inizio brings together over 10,000 experts across clinical development and commercialisation, supporting many of the world’s leading life sciences organisations. Together, we help organisations accelerate the journey from innovation to patient access—anticipating challenges, reducing barriers and ensuring that life-changing treatments reach the people who need them most.

The role

As an Account Manager working across our UK & International practices, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality client programmes across both domestic and global health policy environments. You will manage day-to-day account activity, lead project delivery and contribute strategic insight to clients navigating complex healthcare and policy challenges.

This is a fast-paced and varied role. One week you could be supporting engagement around NHS reform or health system transformation in the UK; the next you may be helping deliver a global advocacy campaign or supporting stakeholder engagement at an international health summit. You will take increasing ownership of client relationships, manage project workstreams and help develop more junior members of the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, events and stakeholder engagement activities across UK and international programmes
  • Drive the development and review of high-quality client materials, including briefings, reports, stakeholder maps, policy analyses, messaging documents and engagement materials
  • Lead specific workstreams within larger client programmes, ensuring delivery aligns with overall strategic objectives
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and serve as a trusted day-to-day point of contact

Policy insight & strategic support

  • Coordinate and deliver timely policy intelligence and rapid alerts for internal teams and clients
  • Support the development of policy, public affairs and advocacy strategies, including stakeholder engagement plans and narrative development

Business development & growth

  • Contribute to new business opportunities through research, insight generation, proposal development and pitch participation
  • Identify opportunities for organic account growth and make recommendations to senior colleagues
  • Support networking and relationship-building activities to generate market intelligence and business opportunities

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Confidence working collaboratively across teams and supporting the development of junior colleagues
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency, research and content development would be advantageous

Development & progression

We are committed to helping our people grow as quickly and as far as their ambition takes them. You will benefit from:

  • Structured training programmes and a personal development budget
  • Regular learning opportunities from internal and external experts
