Account Manager, Field Sales
About the Role

Analog Devices Japan is seeking an Account Manager to join the Industrial Customer Solutions Group, responsible for driving revenue growth and strengthening customer relationships within the industrial market segment. This role focuses on managing assigned accounts, developing new business opportunities, and collaborating closely with Field Application Engineers (FAEs), distributors, and internal stakeholders to deliver differentiated solutions based on Analog Devices’ broad analog and mixed-signal portfolio.

As an Account Manager, Field Sales at Analog Devices, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through direct sales activities, partner development, and technical solution delivery. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to expand our market presence and develop customer relationships within your assigned territory. You will work at the intersection of sales strategy and partner development, serving as a key bridge between ADI's innovative technologies and our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through identification and development of new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with OEM/VAR partners to expand market presence
  • Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Provide technical consultation and customized product solutions to address customer needs
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to optimize sales approaches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Maintain accurate sales data and activity records in company systems

Must Have Skills

  • Technical Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of product specifications, features, and applications with ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer solutions
  • Solution Selling: Design and present customized technical solutions that address specific customer challenges and demonstrate a clear value proposition
  • Technical Consultation: Proficient ability to advise customers on product integration, compatibility, and implementation considerations
  • System & Application Knowledge: Strong understanding of how products fit into broader systems and applications to provide comprehensive solutions
  • Competitive Product Analysis: Effective knowledge of competitors' offerings to highlight unique advantages of ADI products in customer engagements
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize territory strategies and identify growth opportunities
  • Communication Skills: Clear and persuasive communication of technical concepts to various audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a similar technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales or related field
  • Demonstrated track record of successful customer relationship management
  • Experience with OEM/VAR partner development preferred
  • Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N1 or equivalent
  • English language proficiency: TOEIC 650 or equivalent
