As an Emerging Account Manager, the role would lead a portfolio customers and develop meaningful, long-term mutually beneficial relationships with them. In addition to increasing customer success, we will look to grow our market share with these customers and grow our existing revenue. We will develop and implement strategies that improve both customer engagement and help drive the community. The account activities will help provide strong, consistent service levels to our customers and you will work closely with colleagues from other areas of our business to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions - helping customers to grow their business, minimize risk or improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial engagement of customers in your portfolio and grow the revenue through retention and growth!

  • Succeed in net sales and revenue quotas with periodic forecasting

  • Develop strong, senior level network and relationships within customer accounts and drive the execution of account level strategy

  • Identify new opportunities and collaborate with expertise from sales teams

  • Prioritize and rally other LSEG resources to resolve customer issues and help the customer be successful in their objectives

  • Be a champion to raise product relate enhancements to align with customer requirements!

  • Keep the account information up to date in CRM systems and leverage digital tools for sales engagements

  • Responsible for maintaining and increasing LSEG product and service usage by delivering various training activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong relationship building and sales skills - able to build new relationships quickly and become a trusted partner to your customer.

  • Broader understanding of the financial markets and various market participants

  • Ability to identify customer needs and match those needs with LSEG solutions.

  • Strong communication skills - both written and spoken.

  • Ability to collaborate with various teams to achieve customer objectives

  • Adaptability - Ability to respond promptly and efficiently to change.

  • Persuasiveness - ability to influence others to accept or understand your idea.

  • This role will require to work with customers digitally

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2-7 years of experience in sales / account management – responsible for selling financial markets related data and analytics.
