Summit Home Care and Hospice is searching for an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join our team. We’re committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services in the comfort of our patients' homes to positively impact quality of life by redefining the delivery of care.    

Account Manager: 

  • Office Location: 6920 Parkdale Place Suite 110 Indianapolis IN, 46254

  • Location/Territory:  Indianapolis, IN & surrounding areas 

  • Travel: Required + Mileage Reimbursement ($0.48/Mile) 

  • Hours: Monday – Friday; Standard Business Hours 

  • Annual Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per Year  

  • Bonus Potential: $9,000 - $25,000 per Year (Based on Sales Goals)  

Position Summary:  

  • The Account Manager will be responsible for contacting potential partners, patients, customers and physicians services, act as the forward-facing representative of the company to all potential referral sources, will establish and maintain relationships with target referral sources, review market data and build marketing strategies from said data, and present sales material to referral sources.  

  • The Account Manager will reach sales target deadlines. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Secure new referrals. 

  • Consistently meet with the Sales team and leadership team regarding new business plans and updates. 

  • Deliver promotional and marketing materials and service items to referral sources. 

  • Maintain and update contact information for referral sources, including preferred method of contact, and point of contact for larger referral sources. 

  • Meet with case managers and social workers to discuss opportunities to serve their patients. 

  • Schedule meetings with new physician offices, Assisted/Independent Living (AL/IL), and skilled nursing facilities to explain how our services provide world-class customer service. 

  • Learn, understand, and be able to adequately communicate all material related to Summit and how it serves patients and families. 

  • Maintain and expand business relationships with industry partners. 

  • Serves and protects Summit Home Care by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures. 

  • Resolve patient care issues by working one-on-one with referral sources and patients to collect relevant information; confer with caregivers/family members; speaking with patients about home-care needs. 

  • Facilitate coordination of services/resources/events to support physicians, patients, caregivers, and/or the local community. 

  • Consistently participate in networking activities to promote Summit, increase/improve relationships in an effort to increase total closed referrals. 

  • Effectively utilize all internal/external EMR’s and CRM’s relative to procurement of referrals. 

  • Consistently meet/supersede sales goals as directed.  

  • All other duties as assigned/directed. 

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work a schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and evenings. 

  • Exceptional customer service skills 

  • Exceptional organizational management skills 

  • Excellent computer and data management skills 

  • Ability to develop, implement, communicate, and create strategic business alliances and plans. 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.   

Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service with excellent communication skills. 

  • Experience in home health care, durable medical equipment, or skilled nursing facility preferred. 

  • Ability to build rapport with referral sources. 

  • Strong negotiation skills. 

  • Deadline and detail oriented.
