Get to know the Role
Your job is to support our local sales team in growing, training, and monitoring the team to ensure that sales goals are exceeded. Also support to handle some top partners to have better relations and strategic partnership.
The Day-to-Day Activities
- Develop a strategy to enter new GrabFood segments to maximize resources as well as business opportunities to achieve targets.
- Identify, and build relationships/partnerships with top merchants and manage their performance and contribution to building the GrabFood merchant network.
- Monitoring day by day activity for the Account Management team to achieve their targets.
- Build, manage, and develop an Account Management team by leading, coaching, supporting & motivating through technical & commercial knowledge, communication transparency, winning spirit, fighting resilience, and performance acknowledgment.
- Coach and provide necessary training and development for all subordinates to increase their capabilities, productivity, creativity, and motivation that will support both current functional goals and long-term business growth.
- Support City Lead to manage reporting sales and onground insight based on your sense or team insight.
- Be accountable for merchant activity such as (pitching,business review, solving merchant problem, and support their sales in Grabfood.
- Keep abreast of the market and industry situation and competitor activity in order to revise and develop strategies to meet market changes and merchants’ requirements.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all products and services GrabFood offers.
Qualifications
The Must-Haves
- University graduate or higher education in business or relevant fields.
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in sales management with successful track records and a strong ability to develop winning teams
- Good understanding and experience of the relevant industries including payment products, customers, partners, and merchants.
- F&B industry background is an advantage.
- Local Malang person is an advantage..
- English is a plus.
- Microsoft Office skills are required (MS. Excel, MS. Word, and MS. PowerPoint) Grab Confidential and Proprietary.
- A team player but also able to work independently.
- Ability to build good relationships with merchants and match merchant needs and organization resources to grow the GrabFood business.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and calm even in very dynamic and fast-paced working conditions.
- Excellent time management and communication skills with excellent leadership skills, even in under pressure condition
