We’re looking for a founding Account Executive who is as comfortable closing a deal as they are dissecting a market trend. This is a role for someone who wants to move fast, own their results, and help us build a sales organization from the ground up.

THE ROLE

You’ll be our "Swiss Army Knife" in the field. As an early member of the team, you’ll work directly with our founder to manage the full sales lifecycle. You will identify high-potential partners, nurture the pipeline, and act as a strategic advisor to businesses navigating the complex world of high-risk payments.

THE WORK

Pipeline Strategy: You’ll oversee the flow of new opportunities, from cold outreach to optimizing revenue with existing partners.

Tactical Closing: You don't just pitch—you develop sophisticated strategies to improve our closing percentages and drive sustainable growth.

The "Detective" Work: You will stay ahead of the curve by keeping a pulse on industry threats, competitor moves, and new regulations to keep Approvely and our clients a step ahead.

The Travel: You’ll represent the brand at roughly 6 industry events a year, turning handshakes into long-term partnerships.

Feedback Loops: You’ll be the voice of the customer, bringing insights back to our Product and Engineering teams to help shape our roadmap.



Requirements

3+ Years of B2B Sales: You’ve been in the trenches and have a track record of winning, ideally in payments or gaming.

The "Founding" Mindset: You’re excited by the ambiguity of an early-stage startup and ready to carve your own path.

Communication Mastery: Whether it’s a high-stakes phone call or a remote presentation, you know how to drive a deal to the finish line.

Self-Generated Growth: You don't wait for leads to land in your inbox. You know how to leverage networking and referrals to build your own momentum.

The Hybrid Rhythm: You’re comfortable with our high-touch onboarding (3x/week in-person for the first 90 days) and periodic travel for team strategy sessions.
