The Role

Tatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising. We work with some of your favorite disruptor brands—like Calm, Vuori, Rocket Money, and hundreds more—to grow their business using linear and streaming TV ads. Our platform combines sophisticated media buying with proprietary analytics to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience. Our technology and services are pushing the industry forward, enabling businesses of any size to advertise on TV.

Our executive team is comprised of former founders and senior leaders at fast-rising startups like Shazam, TrueCar, AdapTV, and LiveRail and larger, more established tech companies like Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Yahoo. 

We are looking for a “hunter” sales rep to work as part of the Client Development team to drive new business growth at Tatari. As the Account Executive, you will be integral to all stages of the sales cycle from initial strategy and pipeline generation to deal negotiation and close. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of both the TV advertising industry coupled with previous sales experience at a media or adtech company.

Responsibilities

  • Drive leads, grow pipeline, push deal progression, and meet sales quotas
  • Understand the mindset of performance/growth marketers in order to deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to prospects
  • Negotiate business terms with decision-makers and executives
  • Work closely with the Client Services and Media Buying teams to strategically support account growth–helping them transition or expand into TV advertising
  • Effectively communicate with Client Development leadership regarding pipeline, activities, customer needs, and other business opportunities

Qualifications

  • 1+ years sales experience in performance advertising (preferably linear or CTV) sales
  • 1+ years of B2B digital or television advertising experience
  • High motor to keep pace with fast moving clients to quickly grow the business
  • 2+ years of experience in TV, Media, or AdTech (preferred)
  • Demonstrated past success achieving growth objectives
  • Strong sense of ownership, self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as fostering a collaborative environment
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus (we use Hubspot)
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Total compensation: $110,000 - 150,000/annually (75% Base + 25% quarterly incentive plan)
