The Role

As our Account Executive on the Comcast team, you will work closely with our Account Supervisor to manage multiple aspects of our client's official partnership with the PGA TOUR. This role will specifically support partner and client relationships, developing, implementing, and executing all partnership activations and VIP hospitality.

To thrive in this position, you are a motivated self-starter who is inspired to implement corporate touchpoints to enhance the client and guest experience. You have high attention to detail and are comfortable in a client-facing role. You have a background in sport partnerships and an interest in trends surrounding the industry. It's a bonus if you've worked in professional golf, or have a good understanding of its culture, environment, and audience.

This position is remote with a hybrid element and requires all candidates to be in Philadelphia, PA or Milwaukee, WI to go into the client's office or our GMR headquarters to collaborate.

The lines have blurred. People live in the physical, digital, and social worlds all at once, and your brand experiences should do the same.

The best stories are lived, not heard. Make an immersive world for people to explore so they can experience something they'll never forget.

It all starts with the human. If you want to make a lasting impact, look beyond the wallet to understand what motivates and inspires people.

  • You partner with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and internal support teams on the development and execution of our hospitality experiences and activations for Comcast Business. This includes coordinating and leading weekly status meetings with all relative stakeholders and maintaining a timeline to keep the group on track.
  • You ensure accuracy when coordinating all aspects of events, including guest communication, budget tracking, registration sites, vendor management, and payments (hotel contracts, catering, transportation, etc.). This is also crucial after the execution of a successful program when creating event recaps and capturing metrics to reference for future programs.
  • You have excellent professional communication skills and are both confident and knowledgeable about the event and industry when client facing. Being personable, professional, and knowledgeable is key in these situations as you are the face of GMR, representing Comcast Business' partnership with PGA TOUR.
  • You are able to approach unexpected challenges quickly and creatively without missing a beat. You have a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline driven environment, while maintaining accuracy and craft.
  • You have a background and passion for sports partnerships and marketing, and have implemented branded hospitality and/or on-site activations programs at an agency, brand, or property. It's a bonus if you've worked in professional golf or specifically with the PGA TOUR. This is key when making recommendations, presenting new ideas, and challenging concepts around the program white demonstrating openness to giving and accepting thoughtful constructive feedback.
  • You are open to work-related travel for up to 15% of this role, including weekends and occasional holidays. This would be necessary when we need you to be on-site to provide support for large hospitality events and activations that you have typically been involved with planning.

We seek a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives so we can create memories that matter for everyone.

We strive for equity by meeting people where they are, eliminating barriers, and building on their unique talents so we can maximize everyone's contribution. We seek to recognize, grow and unleash the perspective and possibility of each individual on our team.
