The Account Executive will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Verisk Life Solutions. This role is responsible for selling the FAST platform and its modular capabilities to large insurance organizations. The Account Executive will build trusted executive relationships, connect technology solutions to strategic transformation priorities, and lead complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities through the full enterprise sales lifecycle. A strong record of enterprise software sales is central to success, supported by broad financial services knowledge; prior life and annuity experience is beneficial but not required.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prospect, and qualify new enterprise accounts across the insurance market, while following up on leads generated through marketing, partners, and industry relationships.
Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, business leaders, technology stakeholders, and procurement teams; understand their strategic priorities and position Verisk Life Solutions effectively.
Own the full sales cycle from account planning and discovery through solution alignment, business case development, negotiation, contracting, and close.
Lead consultative presentations and demonstrations that connect FAST platform capabilities to client objectives such as modernization, operational efficiency, digital engagement, speed to market, and growth.
Navigate lengthy, complex buying processes involving multiple business units, executive sponsors, technical teams, risk functions, legal, and procurement.
Maintain a disciplined pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and document account strategies, opportunity status, risks, and next steps in the company’s CRM.
Collaborate with product, solution consulting, implementation, legal, finance, marketing, and industry specialists to develop compelling proposals and differentiated value propositions.
Develop commercial recommendations, present pricing and business outcomes, negotiate agreements, and coordinate internal resources to move opportunities to closure.
Represent Verisk Life Solutions at relevant insurance-industry events and contribute market, customer, and competitive insights to go-to-market planning.

10+ years of successful enterprise software, SaaS, insurance technology, or related complex solution sales experience.
Proven ability to develop new business, manage large strategic opportunities, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
Strong understanding of the insurance industry, including carrier business models, technology modernization priorities, operations, distribution, servicing, and claims.
Demonstrated success selling to senior executives and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying and procurement processes.
Excellent discovery, consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
Ability to learn complex products quickly and translate technical capabilities into clear business value and measurable outcomes.
Highly driven, accountable, collaborative, and able to operate effectively in a matrixed enterprise environment.
Experience in life and annuity insurance is preferred but not required; relevant experience in property and casualty, health, employee benefits, financial services, or other regulated enterprise markets will be considered.
