Job Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Account Executive to accelerate Macrobond's growth across Poland and the wider Central and Eastern European market. This is a strategic business development and new customer acquisition role responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new opportunities, and expanding Macrobond's presence within the financial services and economic research ecosystem.
The successful candidate will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and territory planning through negotiation and contract execution. Working closely with prospects and customers, you will demonstrate how Macrobond's economic and financial intelligence platform supports better investment decisions, research processes, risk management, and strategic planning.

Job Responsibilities
Market Development & Territory Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Central and Eastern Europe.
- Identify and engage prospective clients across financial institutions, asset managers, banks, insurance companies, corporates, consulting firms, government organizations, and academic institutions.
- Expand Macrobond's visibility and market presence across the territory.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to support long-term growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business expansion.
New Business Acquisition
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, contracting, and deal closure.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, industry events, and marketing-generated leads.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and revenue targets.
- Develop strategic account plans and territory growth initiatives.
Strategic Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including:
- Chief Economists
- Portfolio Managers
- Investment Strategists
- Research Analysts
- Treasury Teams
- Chief Investment Officers
- Senior Business Leaders
- Understand customer workflows, business challenges, and strategic priorities.
- Position Macrobond as a long-term strategic partner.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer buying journey.
Consultative Sales Execution
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and solution-based discussions.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition and business impact of Macrobond's solutions.
- Navigate complex buying processes involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Develop tailored proposals and commercial agreements aligned with customer objectives.
Industry Engagement
- Represent Macrobond at industry conferences, networking events, trade shows, and client meetings across Central and Eastern Europe.
- Build relationships within the financial services, investment, and economic research communities.
- Increase awareness of Macrobond's solutions and thought leadership in the market.
Market Intelligence
- Maintain a strong understanding of Central and Eastern Europe’s financial markets, economic environment, and competitive market data landscape.
- Monitor customer needs, market developments, and competitor activity.
- Share customer insights and market intelligence with Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with global Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams.
- Support broader regional growth initiatives across Europe.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
Required Qualifications and experience:
- 5-8 years of successful enterprise sales experience within:
- Financial Markets
- Market Data
- Financial Information Services
- FinTech
- Investment Research
- Analytics Platforms
- Enterprise SaaS
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding quota and revenue targets.
- Experience managing complex consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive-level buyers.
- Demonstrated success in new business acquisition and territory development.
- Strong history of generating and converting pipeline opportunities into revenue.
Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the Central and Eastern Europe financial services and capital markets ecosystem.
- Ability to engage credibly with economists, investment professionals, researchers, analysts, and senior business leaders.
- Existing network within banks, asset managers, insurance firms, consulting organizations, corporates, pension funds, or research institutions is highly desirable.

- Fluent Polish required.
- Professional English required

- Hands-on strategic B2B sales experience, preferably within SaaS

- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales quota and market share goals
