Account Executive, Insurance Solutions

The Role

As an Account Executive, Insurance, you’ll own the full sales cycle for strategic accounts within the insurance ecosystem. You’ll partner with prospects and customers to modernize manual workflows across underwriting, claims, policy servicing, onboarding, compliance, and internal operations.

You’ll serve as both a trusted advisor and revenue driver - bringing industry expertise, strong discovery skills, and a consultative sales approach to complex enterprise opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the operational pain points inside insurance organizations and can translate workflow automation into measurable business value.

 
 
What You’ll Do
  • Own and grow a territory focused on Insurance accounts

  • Manage a book of existing customers to proactively drive upsell, cross-sell, and net-new opportunities

  • Prospect and engage new accounts to expand revenue base

  • Build and execute strategic account plans, run outbound prospecting campaigns, and drive pipeline generation

  • Lead full-cycle sales processes from discovery to close

  • Conduct effective discovery and solutioning with mid-market to enterprise-level customers

  • Follow the MEDDPICC qualification process and manage detailed deal execution

  • Negotiate and close complex, high-value deals

  • Use AI tools to drive your effectiveness in overdelivering on targets

 
 


What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience

  • 2+ years selling into the Insurance industry OR prior experience working within Insurance/InsureTech

  • Proven track record exceeding quota in mid-market or enterprise sales environments

  • Experience selling workflow automation, document management, eSignature, no-code/low-code, AI, or operational software solutions

  • Strong understanding of insurance operations and workflows

  • Experience managing opportunities using MEDDPICC or similar sales methodology

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and utilization of AI tools to drive your sales efficiency at scale

  • Prior experience selling to:

    • P&C insurance carriers

    • Life & Annuities organizations

    • Health insurance providers

    • MGAs/MGUs

    • Insurance brokers or agencies

    • TPAs or claims organizations

  • Background at an InsureTech company

  • Existing network within insurance operations, digital transformation, or IT leadership

Salary Range: The base salary of this role is $100,000-$105,000, with On-Target Earnings of $200,000 - $210,000. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
