Overview:

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team!  Responsibilities:

  • Research and write press releases, briefing documents, key messages, Q&As, fact sheets, pitches, and other materials 
  • Support media relations efforts on behalf of clients through pitching compelling stories and media strategy 
  • Build and maintain media lists 
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on relevant client/industry-related news 
  • Support the execution of large-scale events, celebrity media days, charitable partnerships and national campaign launches 
  • Research and evaluate thought leadership opportunities for key brand spokespeople 
  • Provide review and counsel for influencer vetting and content 
  • Bring creative ideas and solutions-oriented thinking to program execution 
  • Have a pulse on the CPG industry, the media landscape, and social media platforms to help provide insights and guidance on programs 
  • Provide support for media monitoring and program recapping  
  • Proofread and edit documents; consolidate team edits; maintain records of supporting reference materials. 
  • Respond to requests for information from clients, team members,  and other agency employees with accuracy and in a professional and timely manner. 
  • Support billing procedures within the team (according to client project) by maintaining billing, invoices, and job numbers 
  • Flex to support teams across multiple programs and clients throughout the year, depending on campaign launch times 
  • This is a hybrid position requiring three days a week in the office.

Qualifications:  

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred  
  • Two to three years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position 
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and teams 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities 
  • Comfortable presenting and being client facing 

 





The salary range for this position is $62,500 - $68,000.  The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available. #LI-Hybrid
