At NiCE, we don’t limit our challenges. We challenge our limits. Always. We’re ambitious. We’re game changers. And we play to win. We set the highest standards and execute beyond them. And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.
So, what's the role all about?
This is a rare opportunity to be the first dedicated Agentic AI sales specialist for NiCE in Japan, a newly created role that puts you at the forefront of one of the most exciting product portfolios in enterprise AI today.
Japan’s enterprise landscape is transforming fast, and NiCE is accelerating its presence here. Your focus will be exclusively on our standalone Agentic AI portfolio — Cognigy Agentic AI, Knowledge Management, Agent Assist, and Proactive AI, solutions designed to deliver immediate value within any existing infrastructure, without ripping and replacing what's already there. That flexibility is your competitive edge in a market where enterprises are ready to adopt AI, but on their own terms.
You won't be doing this alone. You'll be backed by an experienced regional team, world-class pre-sales and solution engineering support, and the full weight of a global organisation that's been winning in this space for years. This is a role with real scope to grow — both in terms of market impact and your own career trajectory within NiCE.
How will you make an impact?
- Establish and grow NiCE's Agentic AI presence across Japan's enterprise market, generating new ARR through direct and partner-led sales
- Lead full sales cycles end-to-end — from account planning, discovery, and solution design through to commercial negotiation and close
- Position NiCE's standalone solutions as powerful complements to customers' existing technology investments, articulating clear ROI and integration simplicity
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline with disciplined forecasting
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders — CXOs, CTOs, and VP-level leaders — across BFSI, telecom, retail, and other enterprise verticals
- Collaborate with channel and GSI partners to extend reach and accelerate deal velocity
- Coordinate with internal pre-sales, product specialists, and solution engineers who are there to support you at every stage
- Represent NiCE at key industry events, conferences, and customer forums across Japan
Have you got what it takes?
- 8+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience with a strong track record in AI, SaaS, or CX technology
- Deep familiarity with the Japanese enterprise ecosystem — you understand how large organisations buy, navigate procurement, and manage multi-stakeholder decisions
- A hunter mindset: you create pipeline, not just manage it
- Ability to position standalone, composable solutions alongside incumbent technologies — this is a strength, not a limitation
- Strong commercial acumen — you can build compelling ROI narratives and handle complex deal structures with confidence
- Consultative selling skills with the ability to translate AI capabilities into tangible business outcomes
- Experience engaging C-suite and VP-level executives across enterprise accounts
- Comfortable working across a partner ecosystem including GSIs, regional SIs, and channel partners
- Excellent communication and executive presence — in English and Japanese
