We are looking for an Account Director for growing new and existing client relationships at Akcelo. You will be responsible for leading the development of strategic client growth plans.

You will be a ‘brand champion’ by leading strategy development and success criteria for your client!

With great progression, the chance to work with the latest technology and some of the world’s most famous brands, a normal day in the role of the Account Director includes:

  • Overseeing client relationships within assigned portfolio
  • Building and growing new and existing client relationships
  • Developing strategic client growth plans to exceed revenue targets and broaden service offering
  • Preparing accurate client forecasts and implementing strategic client growth plans to meet and exceed these forecasts
  • Meeting clients regularly to understand business problems, and opportunities
  • Overseeing the successful onboarding of new clients and retention of existing
  • Motivating the Akcelo team around the clients business goals, being an advocate for the client inside the agency
  • Preparing all client presentation decks, scopes and project plans
  • Overseeing the delivery of all work and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure alignment to timings and budget
  • Seeking new opportunities to provide additional services to clients where appropriate including activating the right Akcelo capability to assist the client with any brief that they require, or might require in the future
  • Mentoring, growing and overseeing junior team members as required.

To be in the running for this great role, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience overseeing client portfolios within an agency environment
  • Experience in retail and understanding of the sector
  • An entrepreneurial flair - you are always searching for ‘what’s next’
  • A passion to seek out new ideas/ways of doing things and embrace change
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and develop those around you
  • A positive and solution focussed attitude
  • Experience and confidence in preparing and presenting client forecasts
  • Comfortability presenting and articulating ideas and concepts clearly
  • A natural born leader who enjoys motivating and developing others
  • The willingness to grow with and alongside the business
  • Experience working leading and delivering digital campaigns (retail focussed - advantage)
  • You love being part of a team!
