The Academic Services Specialist will work alongside the Academic Services Team providing support linked to the delivery of learning activities of the courses: he/she will assist students and academic staff in the academic process and documentation development.
Main activitiesStudents care:
- Support in the student welcoming activities from the week zero, collaborating in the welcome pack preparation and sharing (academic calendar, access to digital platform, general information during presentations to students about School rules and/or courses);
- Support for student assistance during their academic path (information, operative support, etc.) trough the help desk activities and the Academic Services email account processing;
- Help to manage problems or complaints efficiently and effectively in collaboration with the Academic Services Team;
- Collaborate in monitoring activities and analyses of attendance (presence, absence, online attendances follow up);
- Collaborate for the Survey distribution (Student's Voice) to monitor student satisfaction and correct functioning of academic processes.
Courses planning and academic career follow up
- Assist the Academic Services Team on the timetable with focus on each academic program and number of enrolments for each course;
- Monitor exams calendar and follow up;
- Support with course updates and academic progress in the academic services database;
- Maintain accurate database records regarding assessments, attendance, online attendances, absences;
- Update digital platforms, such as the Student Information System, the Timetable Scheduling Portal, and the Learning Management System, by entering the necessary data to support students’ academic progression and learning activities.
Faculty and Staff Support:
- Assist in the activation of tutors’ registers with timetables;
- Support all academic staff (Tutors, Programme Leaders) in providing academic activities and exams;
- Support all members of Istituto Marangoni Paris with matters related to academic activities
Bachelor’s degree
Previous professional experience in other Academic Institutions
Strong interest in fostering a caring and supportive approach
Excellent communications skills, organizational skills, accuracy and proactive approach
A team player, with strong administrative skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with attention to details
Practical approach to problem-solving and results-driven attitude French language - full proficiency required
English language – full proficiency required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office essential
