Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee IT Project Delivery:
Plan, execute, and close IT projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery in line with technical and business requirements - Manage Project Execution:
Lead project activities, manage team assignments, monitor deliverables, and maintain alignment with the project roadmap - Engage Stakeholders:
Build strong relationships with clients, senior management, and internal teams to ensure transparency, trust, and collaboration - Identify and Mitigate Risks:
Proactively assess risks and create mitigation plans to minimize business disruption - Resolve Issues:
Tackle project roadblocks, troubleshoot delays, and ensure momentum is maintained throughout the delivery lifecycle
- 10–15 years of overall experience in IT project and program management
- Strong technical background (education or experience in IT)
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-level IT systems
- Mandatory: Prior experience working on Customs projects or with Customs IT applications - "Customs" refers to the border and import/export control authorities - in this role, experience with Customs IT systems means working with technologies used by government agencies to manage trade, duties, and border processes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional, multi-cultural, and distributed teams
- Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Budget management and reporting experience
