Company Description
We are Software Mind, an awesome team of engineers who are ready to ramp up any top-notch company’s projects! Our aim? To always be one step ahead. Become part of a multicultural company in constant growth with an excellent work environment certified by Great Place To Work!
Project – the aim you’ll have
Software Mind is partnering with a leading US-based promotional products and e-commerce company to build a new shipping and delivery service for its white-label B2B commerce platform, built on Shopify Plus with a .NET microservices backend on AWS. The service integrates with major shipping carriers, the e-commerce storefront, and existing order management systems. It is a short, focused engagement: a discovery phase followed by two-week sprints through to production release.
Position – how you’ll contribute
• Own end-to-end delivery: plan, schedule, milestones, budget tracking, and acceptance from discovery through production release
• Lead the discovery phase to a clear go / no-go decision before build starts
• Track client dependencies and decisions with owners and dates; escalate early when they put the plan at risk
• Run scope and change control: assess change requests, document impact, and route them for approval
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and keep the Jira backlog and board current with the Tech Lead and Business Analyst
• Coordinate across the client, partner vendors, and third-party providers in a multi-vendor setup
• Own the RAID log, decision log, and regular status reporting to client and Software Mind leadership
• Plan UAT and production release with the client
• Manage team capacity and allocation across a cross-functional team
• Prepare acceptance evidence and handover documentation
Expectations – the experience you need
• 7+ years of project management in software delivery, including 3+ years on client-facing projects for US clients
• Proven delivery of fixed-price / fixed-scope projects: baseline management, change control, milestone-based acceptance
• Strong Agile / Scrum practice with Jira and Confluence
• Experience managing client dependencies and decisions in multi-vendor environments
• Technical literacy across APIs, integrations, cloud (AWS), and microservices — able to follow architecture discussions and assess technical risk
• Track record of delivering short, high-intensity projects from discovery to production
• Confident stakeholder management up to executive level
• Excellent communication in English — written and spoken — for daily client interaction
