Altoros, an established provider of software development services, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer who will take full ownership of building an automation framework from the ground up for a modern fintech platform. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys autonomy, technical decision‑making, and shaping the long‑term testing strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a test automation framework from scratch (tools and stack are flexible — you choose what fits best).
- Define automation strategy, standards, and best practices.
- Automate regression, functional, API and integration test suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, product owners and DevOps teams.
- Identify gaps in the current testing process and propose improvements.
- Ensure high test coverage and maintainability of the automation suite.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in test automation (UI and API).
- Ability to independently design and build automation architecture.
- Solid programming skills in any modern language (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, etc.).
- Exprience with frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Selenide, RestAssured, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in fintech is a plus, but not required.
- Proactive mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Benefits of the role:
- Full ownership of automation — you choose the tools, architecture, and approach.
- Opportunity to influence the quality strategy from day one.
- Work on a dynamic fintech product with modern engineering practices.
- Collaboration with an experienced international team.
