The Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) Business Line plays a crucial role in developing global broadband access device products, with a focus on FWA and home connectivity solutions. Based in Athens, Greece, the FWA R&D Product Test team is looking for a talented 5G Test Automation Engineer to join our local Athens team. Main mission is the evolution of our test automation framework and the validation of our FWA products, delivering high-quality solutions to customers worldwide. Working in this dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to build your skills in telecommunications, contributing to the evolution of last-mile 5G networks and collaborating with stakeholders across the globe.

- Responsible for setting up, maintaining and evolving the Product Test Robot Automation framework and test cases as part of a team
- Automation framework development and automation of E2E Functional, Security, Performance, Stability, Capacity, Stress and Provocative tests
Design dynamic Robot framework keywords with re-usability and flexibility in mind - Creation, execution, analysis and maintenance of the smoke and regression test suites on a frequent basis, striving to keep them stable and reliable
- Act as a key contact point for automation matters for some products or technical domains.
- Drive and organize the automation of manual tests within the team
- Set up and maintain Automation E2E test environments
- Develop new automation test methods/tools to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to less experienced team members as well as other internal/external stakeholders
Must have
- BSc or MSc in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent degree
- Technical background in telecommunications (wireless or fixed networks), system and network performance test processes, test environment setup and debugging methods
- Experience in some of 3GPP, 4G/5G mobile cellular or packet core network, TCP/IP, IPv6, WiFi, Ethernet, VLAN, TR069, TR369, QoS, call flows, protocols and technologies
- Previous test automation experience and interest in test case creation using Robot, Python, Selenium, bash scripting, TCL etc
- Experience in Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools, Jenkins, GIT etc
- Good understanding of Linux based operating systems
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Dedication and team spirit, self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Continuous improvement and proactive mindset
Nice to have:
- Hands on test experience in fixed or 4G/5G mobile network CPEs/UEs/ONTs or core network
- Previous product testing experience, as well as a solid understanding of product development lifecycle process and test engineering processes
- Test Automation experience in TR069, TR369 or 3GPP protocols
