We’re looking for a versatile 3D Generalist to join our team in Izmir or Istanbul! In this role, you’ll become a key player in shaping the visual identity of our games. Your primary focus will be Smashball, where you’ll bring a vibrant, stylized cartoon world to life, but you’ll also be the go-to expert for our new hyper-casual projects.

You’ll thrive here if you love pivoting between distinct art styles and feel right at home taking an asset from a rough sketch all the way to a finished, animated character in Unity. We’re a collaborative group that values ownership, and we can’t wait to see how you’ll help us craft joy for millions of players.

You will have impact and fun at work by:

  • Crafting diverse assets from scratch, including characters, props, and environments in both cartoon and hyper-casual styles.
  • Owning the full 3D pipeline by handling modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, rigging, and animation.
  • Integrating your work into Unity, ensuring everything from render pipelines to scene setups is polished and bug-free.
  • Bringing worlds to life with VFX by creating and implementing visual effects directly within the engine.
  • Collaborating closely with designers, developers, and marketing teams to meet high creative and technical standards.
  • Sharing your knowledge and participating in agile development to help the team constantly improve.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Expertise in 3D software, with a strong preference for Blender, to create high-quality assets.
  • A solid grip on Unity, including experience with scene setup and content integration.
  • A keen artistic eye for shape, color, light, and composition to make our games look stunning.
  • Mobile optimization skills, showing you can create beautiful low-poly assets that run smoothly on mobile platforms.
  • Animation and rigging talent, with the ability to move both characters and objects naturally.
  • Style adaptability, backed by a portfolio that showcases both vibrant cartoon aesthetics and minimalist styles.
  • Great communication skills both in English and Turkish that help you share ideas and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

Please send your CV and Portfolio in English. We look forward to speaking to you!

We welcome applicants to use the name they want to be addressed by in the application form, regardless of whether it is their legal name.

At Rovio, we are also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities or conditions in our working environment and job application procedures. We are committed to continuously improving workplace accessibility. If you have any questions before applying, please write to us at [email protected].
