About the Job
As a 3D Designer, you will support our Design team in using CLO and other tools to create a digital twin for our product line. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing our design capabilities and streamlining the development process.
CLO Responsibilities:
- Create new styles based on design briefs by updating existing assets or developing new ones.
- Incorporate digitized fabrics, finishes, and trims into styles.
- Render Production-Ready product/colorway imagery
- Develop seasonal color palettes.
Fabric Digitization:
- Digitize seasonal fabrics using Seddi Textura and Photoshop.
Finish Digitization:
- Digitize seasonal finishes in Photoshop and Adobe Substance.
Sundry/Graphic Technique Digitization:
- Texturize seasonal trims using Adobe Substance or Photoshop, 3D modeling in Rhino, Blender
About You
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design or equivalent industry experience.
- Focus on 3D design in education or professional experience with CLO in an apparel company.
- A portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in CLO3D skills (if self-taught).
Skills:
- Strong passion for 3D and digital development, fashion, technology, and creativity, with a commitment to driving positive change in the industry.
- Experience using the following tools (Preferred, but not required unless otherwise noted)
- CLO3D (required)
- Seddi Textura
- Adobe Substance
- Adobe Photoshop (required)
- Proficient in navigating software such as PLM, SharePoint, Miro, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- Deep understanding of garment construction, fit, and sewing techniques, with the ability to create realistic fabric simulations and textures.
- Excellent communication skills—able to absorb feedback and provide timely updates while maintaining open communication with multiple teams.
- Ability to work independently and take accountability for your work.
- Committed to ensuring work exudes a high standard of quality and professionalism.
- Eagerness to support company initiatives to scale/improve digital development (continuous feedback, piloting new ways of working, etc.)
The expected starting salary range for this role is (($66,500- $ $95,000)) per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
