We are looking for 3D Mids and Senior Animators to join our offices in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
/ YOUR ROLE:
- Deliver high-end animation with strong acting and storytelling, setting quality benchmarks for the team.
- Take ownership of complex shots and sequences, ensuring they meet creative and technical expectations.
- Work closely with Leads and Supervisors to interpret creative direction and translate it into final animation.
- Support Leads in reviewing work and providing constructive feedback to other animators when required.
- Help maintain consistency in style, performance, and continuity across the project.
- Anticipate challenges and propose solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Provide reliable task estimates and ensure deadlines are met.
/ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 3–6+ years of experience in animation production.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-level acting and performance.
- Ability to mentor and support other team members.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable mindset.
- Proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus).
/ NICE TO HAVE:
- Advanced understanding of animation principles, performance, and storytelling.
- Strong ability to interpret scripts, storyboards, and animatics into compelling animation.
- Deep knowledge of production pipelines and workflows.
- High proficiency in Autodesk Maya and strong technical awareness (rigs, constraints, troubleshooting).
- Ability to handle complex scenes, characters, and acting beats.
- Collaborate closely with Leads, Supervisors, and Production to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Act as a key point of reference for other animators on artistic and technical matters.
- Communicate proactively with other departments to anticipate and resolve issues.
/ GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Office-based role in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00, Friday from 08:00 to 14:00.
- 25 days of annual leave.
- Contract type: Project-based contract, estimated until June 27. Opportunity for continued employment on future projects.

What We Do
At Amuse we create animated heroes for preschool kids. Amuse Studios is our creative hub based in the Canaries where our 2D and 3D animators and a full production team operate. Our digital first short-form approach to content production and distribution provides us with valuable insights and data which we use to drive the production of premium longer-form animation. We distribute our content globally in 27 languages, own and operate 200 Youtube channels with 600 million monthly views. We have deep penetration in the Chinese market and have twice been named Best Cooperation Partner by Tencent. We’re working towards building global animation franchises with a 360 approach to IP exploitation. Our third party services include 2D and 3D animation, pre/post production, music composition, localisation into 27 languages and global distribution.
