You will have impact and fun at work by:
- Create concept art for characters, props, backgrounds, environments, and other game elements to support visual development
- Produce polished 2D assets for use in-game, including UI elements, icons, and illustrations
- Contribute to marketing and promotional artwork, ensuring consistency with the game’s brand and style
- Work closely with the Lead Artist to maintain a unified visual direction and brand identity
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to provide references, paintovers, and asset support
- Participate in reviews and incorporate feedback effectively
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a 2D artist, ideally in the games industry
- Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in concept art, illustration, and polished production assets
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or similar)
- Ability to adapt to and work within an established brand/IP
- Understanding of how 2D art supports the game production pipeline
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
It would be nice if you also have the following skills:
- A passion for video game development
- Has shipped one or more mobile games
- Experience working across multiple artistic disciplines such as 3d Modeling, animation, VFX, graphic design or motion graphics
- Experience with storyboarding, animatics, or pre-visualization
