Job Title: Programmer Analyst - Dynamics 365 Systems Architect

Overview: This position provides application development and integration services to the Department of Technology, Management and Budget, supporting the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC), and Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP). The role involves the design, maintenance, development, and enhancement of agency applications within the framework of the State of Michigan System Engineering Methodology (SEM). The employee will be responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of application releases, updates, and modifications within a client/server and web server environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for the Dynamics 365 Platform.
- Serve as the System Architect, leading and performing project tasks including requirements gathering, planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations.
- Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems.
- Define, communicate, and manage technical change management processes for all Dynamics 365 related technology efforts.
- Identify risks and issues from a technical perspective.
- Troubleshoot application issues under pressure and resolve complex problems in a timely manner.
- Prepare detailed written instructions and documentation.
- Make oral and written reports and presentations, and prepare clear and concise documentation.
- Perform analysis and requirements gathering with customers.
- Communicate technical terminology at a level appropriate to the audience.
- Create highly complex assignments in a high-stress work environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure/network and application support.
- Extensive experience with MS Dynamics, MS Azure, and application support - 5+ years.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Customer Service Analyst.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and DevOps (preferred).
Work Environment:
- In this position, you will be both a Dynamics Architect and Developer.
