The Role
Multi-skilled position responsible for oil & gas measurement related equipment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Installation, programming, calibration and maintenance of EFM Flow computers.
- Maintain differential pressures between 20 and 80 percent of calibrated range.
- Calculate volumes and rates, size orifice plates.
- Operate, inspect and maintain meter tubes.
- Maintain gas sampling systems, (composite gas samplers), collect gas samples and deliver to gas lab.
- Maintain custody meter witnessing schedule and oil meter proving (LACT Units).
- Installation, programming and maintenance of remote communications hardware, (troubleshooting communications).
- Identifies current and future instrumentation and electrical requirements by establishing a rapport with management, engineering, production personnel, technicians, and other persons in a position to understand electrical requirements.
- Ensures production operations by determining work priorities and scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of measurement systems.
- Develop and maintain customer relations with producers and team.
- Operate a vehicle (must have a Texas drives license).
- Compile and put together monthly volume statement.

- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.

Qualifications:
- Eight (8) years minimum experience in oil & gas measurement field.
- Have working knowledge of industry best practices and API & AGA recommendations.
- Installation, programming, calibration and maintenance of EFM Flow computers.
- Validate gas measurement data before releasing to accounting department.
- Required working knowledge of flow computers.
- Ability to read and understand Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
Education Requirements:
- Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position
