Assists Production Foreman with supervision of assigned field operations, planning, tracking, and controlling daily expenses/costs. Monitors daily production, on a well-by-well basis, and supervises field operators and contract employees. Able to perform Production Foreman’s duties in their absence.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures safe operations in the field and at the facility.
- Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long-range field goals.
- Ensures Management of Change process is followed and reviews all MOC’s prior to start up.
- Perform daily operational requirements, such as maximizing rates, analyzing process conditions and initiating actions to meet production and costs targets.
- Monitors and maintains daily production, on a well-by-well basis.
- Able to integrate scheduling between competing resources and allocate resources efficiently to the best use.
- Identifies problems and helps direct reports initiate solutions.
- Supervises field operators and contract employees.
- Facilitate training and mentoring programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of personnel within Milne Field operations team.

- Adheres to establish work schedules, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Performs all other duties as assigned by Production Foreman.
- Supervises personnel and provides assistance with conducting employee performance evaluations.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the MPU and implement actionable plans
- Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
- Writes and communicates complete handover notes to ensure proper turnover to alternate.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
- Required to participate on the emergency response team.
- Ability to be on-call 24/7.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years minimum experience in the operation of oil and gas production facilities.
- Ability to work a fourteen (14) day on and fourteen (14) day off 12 hour shift work schedule.
- Sound technical knowledge of ESP operations, oil process, well testing and wellhead safety systems.
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to work long hours.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Ability to work in Arctic conditions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to developing workforce.
- Good management, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams/SharePoint/Project for the Web
- Ability to travel to remote location via small plan or helicopter.
Education Requirements:
- Required: Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
