🔹 You'll

  • Support the development and management of project controls processes, including scheduling, cost management, risk, and reporting.

  • Prepare, analyse, and interpret project performance data to enable informed and timely decision-making.

  • Assist in establishing and maintaining the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and contribute to the collection and validation of monthly KPI and progress data.

  • Contribute to the implementation of effective project governance, ensuring compliance with established procedures, tools, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate project controls activities across internal teams and external suppliers to maintain alignment and consistency.

  • Support the integration of project control disciplines—schedule, cost, risk, quality, and reporting—to provide a unified view of project performance.

  • Ensure data accuracy and adherence to PMO standards, policies, and best practices.

🔹 About You

Essential

  • Professional experience undertaking Programme Controls roles for the development and/or delivery of large, complex construction projects

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable contributing to workshops and discussions to help identify issues and develop solutions.

  • Experience supporting project controls activities such as risk, planning, cost, change control, document control, or reporting (experience in at least one discipline is sufficient).

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project controls team.

  • Familiarity with project controls systems, tools, or software.

  • Able to collaborate well with clients, partners, and wider project teams.

Desirable

  • A formal professional Project Management/Project Controls qualification or professional body membership.

  • Working towards professional qualifications.

  • Experience in nuclear or a heavy regulated industry
