About the Program


At MPS, our interns are more than participants; they are contributors. Our internship program is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience in the modular power infrastructure industry while helping you build the foundation for a successful career.

MPS's Summer Internship Program is a paid 12-week experience designed for students who are ready to take the next step in their professional journey. Throughout the summer, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and gain valuable exposure to engineering, manufacturing, and project execution within a fast-paced, innovative environment.


As a Safety Intern, you'll gain exposure to health, safety, and environmental programs that help protect our employees, clients, and communities. Working closely with HSE Specialists and project teams, you'll apply classroom learning in a fast-paced construction environment while developing the foundation for a career in construction safety.

What You Bring to Us


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or closely related discipline, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
  • Rising junior or rising senior status strongly preferred
  • Prior construction or safety‑related internship experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to spend significant time on active project sites (approximately 80%)

 

Working Conditions


  • Work includes standing, walking, sitting, typing, bending, and light lifting
  • Primary work location is active construction sites with varying environmental conditions
  • Noise levels range from low to high depending on jobsite activity
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs
  • MPS complies with ADA and applicable state laws and provides reasonable accommodation when possible  

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
