The Role
Supports the Organizational Development and Instructional Design team by creating and editing technical training, interactive e-learning, classroom materials, microlearning, and video-based content. Collaborates with subject matter experts, conducts research, supports training initiatives and databases, and participates in team projects and meetings. The intern may perform administrative tasks, attend training, travel between operating locations, and present a summary of completed training at the end of the program.

Job Summary
As a member of the Organizational Development-Instructional Design Team, you will develop, design, review, and edits trainings. You will work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and edit technical training content, build both interactive e-learning modules, and classroom instructional content, assist in the development and implementation of training reinforcement plans through micro learnings and capturing transfer of knowledge. You may also work with different video editing tools to develop video-based training content that can be viewed on mobile devices.
Essential Functions
• Assist with various tasks and projects assigned by supervisor and team members.
• Conduct research and gather data to support ongoing projects or initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input or suggestions as appropriate.
• Support the development and maintenance of databases, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools.
• Adhere to company policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Seek opportunities to learn and grow in field of interest.
• Complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently ad within specified deadlines.
• May perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents.
• Attend/complete training as needed to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Education
• Must be currently enrolled and be in good standing with their College/University and be pursuing a degree in a related field to the internship.
• Junior or Senior level is preferred.
Experience
• Previous work experience is a plus but is not required.

• Experience in developing training content, instructional design and working on a Learning Management system is preferred.
• Experience with LMS, Storyline 360, Articulate and video editing software is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent computer skills and experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google Mail. 
• Good oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
• Should demonstrate tenacity and the ability to work on teams, take instruction, the desire for learning all areas of the work involved. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Motivated, self-starter; Ability to work independently without direct supervision and as part of a team well.
• Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Able to relate to all levels of people
Other Requirements
• Some travel may be required. May require driving between operating locations.
• May involve exposure to dust, dirt and noise.
• May work in an office setting and that requires sitting/standing for extended periods of time.
• If in an operations setting must have the ability to lift 50 pounds and to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time.
• Requires the use of computerized equipment and technology.
• This position requires knowledge and awareness of site hazards. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google, Oracle Business Environment and other software packages relevant to the position.
• Weekly meetings of Google meet with other interns with Division Training Manager.
• Prepare a presentation summarizing their training near the end of the program to be given in front of Managers/Supervisor, HR and other interns.

Skills Required
