2027 FT Senior Analyst, Finance - Accounting and Finance Development Program (AFDP)
- Finance & Strategy Track: Rotations span various Commercial Finance areas such as Strategy, Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, Real Estate, and Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Participants will complete at least three of four 6-month rotations within the Commercial Finance organization with the option to complete one 6-month rotation within Controllership or Audit. Each role can look different and will provide exposure to financial planning, data analysis, financial modeling, strategic decision support, and initiative implementation.
- Accounting Track: Rotations span the various sub-teams within Controllership and Audit. Participants will complete two 6-month rotations in Controllership and two 6-month rotations in Audit. Controllership areas include External Reporting, Global Internal Controls, Consolidations and Segment support (International, Walmart US, Sam’s Club or Corporate).
- Four six-month rotations spanning multiple operating segments (Walmart U.S., Sam’s Club, International, and Corporate).
- 4 weeks of dedicated training designed to elevate proficiency across a range of leadership, technical, and soft skills which includes a capstone experiential learning component.
- Frequent access to senior leadership, CFO Speaker Series, and AFDP-only experiences at our Stores, Clubs and Supply Chain facilities.
- Collaborative environment anchored by the AFDP cohort and strong alumni network.
- Formal peer and senior leader mentorship.
- Individualized development planning support, participation in assessments, and coaching debrief sessions.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergrad or masters program with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field at the time of application with a graduation date prior to June 2027.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
