Job Summary
As a Latin America Debt Capital Markets Intern in our Markets team, you will assist in executing all aspects of international bond transactions, prepare marketing materials and proposals, coordinate conference calls, and support documentation and due diligence processes. You'll gather and process market information for client presentations, analyze financing alternatives across currencies, and benchmark corporate clients against global peers. You will collaborate with local and international third parties and contribute to comparable company analyses.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in executing international bond transactions for Latin America clients
- Prepare marketing materials, proposals, market updates, and deal reviews
- Coordinate conference calls and working group lists
- Support documentation and due diligence processes
- Manage internal procedures and organize roadshow logistics
- Gather and process market information for client presentations
- Analyze and compare financing and refinancing alternatives across currencies
- Prepare deal-related and general marketing materials
- Analyze credit and financial conditions of corporate clients
- Benchmark clients against global industry peers
- Collaborate with lawyers, rating agencies, and auditors during bond issue execution
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Strong interest in investment banking and global financial markets
- Excellent analytical, quantitative (algebra, statistics, probability), and interpretative skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment
- Adaptable, flexible, and resilient
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Fluency means the ability to easily read, write, speak, and comprehend each language
- Coursework in finance or economics
- Graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027 from a Bachelor's or Master's program
- If pursuing a Master's degree, it must be within 2 years of receiving your Bachelor's degree
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
