Mr. Cooper's summer internship program offers college students the chance to discover what it's like to work at a leading financial services organization. Our interns deliver innovative solutions to real business challenges and build enduring relationships with their manager and an assigned mentor. Our summer internship program begins in June 2025 and ends in August 2025.
The Operational Process Intern will work with our IT operations team to support the IT ticketing process and maintain knowledge management systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with Incident and Request Fulfillment: Support the team in handling tickets and collaborating with business and technology teams to resolve issues.
- Customer Communication: Help keep customers updated on the status of their inquiries and document all interactions clearly within the IT ticketing system.
- Support and Maintenance: Work with remote teams and assist in maintaining the knowledge management system.
- Application Support: Provide support during application projects and assist with defining standard operating procedures.
- Problem Management: Participate in outage and problem management activities.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the team.
Basic Qualifications
- Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree or program equivalent from an accredited college/university or have graduated within one year of start date (June 2025)
- Pursuing a degree in computer science or related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in Office365, Windows, and IT ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, JIRA or other Agile Methodology support software.
- Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (Currently, our organization is unable to support candidates that are on OPT, CPT or candidates that will need sponsorship, now or in the future)
