We are currently seeking a student intern to join our team. As a Biostatistics intern, you will work closely with the biostatistics team and the areas of the business that we support: Clinical Science, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, etc. This position is a paid, temporary internship eligible to first-year Master’s student or first- or second- year PhD student within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ. This role is a hybrid role with some in-office time preferred. (will change based on job function)

Responsibilities:
•    Working closely with the Biostatistics team on assigned tasks 
•    Project work will include but it not limited to the following: 

  • Collaborate closely with an experienced statistician in Kyowa Kirin to conduct statistical analyses of data from and/or statistical research related to drug development, and health technology assessment or methodological research
  • Regular meetings with a mentor or senior biostatistician to discuss projects, career development, and industry insights.
  • Access to specialized training sessions on statistical software (e.g., SAS, R), data management, and clinical trial methodologies.
  • Involvement in Clinical research in Kyowa Kirin for drug development, such as data analysis, report writing, and interpretation of clinical trial results.
  • Assisting in the creation of new or updating of existing Statistical-related SOPs/Wis
  • Opportunities to work with cross-disciplinary teams, such as data management, clinical operation, and regulatory affair.
  • Helping to create and maintain a culture of integrity within Kyowa Kirin

Requirements:
•    This position requires candidates to be currently enrolled students who have completed the first year of a full-time Masters program or a PhD program in a biostatistics related area (e.g., Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, etc.).
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Interns are required to be able to work from May 27th - August 15th 
•    The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required 
•    Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ.
•    This position requires that candidates be able to work in the United States on a permanent and on-going basis.
