Information Systems and Cyber Division (ISCD) staff couple the latest in information system technologies, such as elastic compute clouds, containerization, microservices, real-time operating systems, and visualization frameworks, with expertise in cyber security, software architecture, software engineering, data science, Artificial Intelligence, process improvement, and software development to deliver responsive, resilient, high-performance software intensive systems to our Intelligence Community, DoD, and civilian customers.
Join the Software Implementation & Integration Department and do cool work in a growing industry! Utilize latest software technologies and understanding of software architecture to support work on space systems for our customers in Space Force, Air Force, NASA, and other federal and commercial industries.
Work Model
- This is a full-time onsite position based in El Segundo, CA with 3 days onsite and allows remote flexibility as business needs allow
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing software systems engineering support to space, ground, and launch systems in the national security, civil, and commercial domains.
- Leveraging a wide range of technical skills to help solve complex problems in various software systems domains such as software development; software architectures; enterprise systems; technology recommendations; cloud and virtualization deployments; microservices and API development; and systems modeling.
- Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges.
- Driving positive change by introducing new perspectives, challenging established practices, and fostering a culture of innovation within the team
- Collaborating with teams across the corporation to develop cross-domain space solutions.
- Assist teams strategically with customer engagement in their efforts solving problems in the space arena.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field pursuing or conferred within 12 months
- 0-1 year of industry/ professional experience post graduate/ undergraduate degree.
- Ability to lead tasks and work on multiple tasks concurrently.
- Solid understanding of the software engineering life-cycle
- Knowledge / understanding in at least one of the following areas:
- Data lakes and data pipelining
- Model-based systems engineering and complex systems modeling
- AI/ML (LLM, Neural Network, NLP, etc.)
- Alternative software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.)
- Willing to travel occasionally.
- This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

- Advanced degree from an accredited program in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Hands on experience in any of the following areas:
- Data lakes and data pipelining

We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
