Position Summary:
Seeking an energetic, assertive, self-motivated and experienced hands-on Test Systems Development (TSD) Manager to join an international test development team.
As a part of the Global TSD team, the selected candidate will manage a group of TSD engineers whose responsibilities will be focused on researching, coordinating, designing, and delivering unique production test solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a broad production test and automation background, with a thorough understanding of how to automate testing for a high-volume consumer electronics production environment. Familiarity with common quality assurance practices for qualifying production test stations and methods are required.
This high visibility role will work closely across functional departments with product design engineering, production engineering, quality engineering and operations during product development, NPI and mass production stages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the in-country manager as part of an international team of test systems development engineers.
2. Hands-on manager to lead, mentor, and motivate engineers to meet production test objectives.
3. Research new test methods and look for opportunities to improve production test efficiency.
4. Coordinate and work closely as part of the TSD team to achieve production test objectives.
5. RF Test Tool Development including BT, BLE, WIFI, ZigBee, Z-Wave, and RF4CE.
6. Manage test fixture design and development for mass production testing.
7. Drive standardization of test methodology of specific features.
8. Effective communication with other departments internally and globally.
9. Continuous improvement in testing following industry best practices.
10. Drive Yield Improvement, Cycle Time Reduction and Cost & Quality enhancements.
11. Support the transition of test stations from NPI to MP.
12. Create and provide the necessary documentation for a successful handoff to the factory.
13. Attend production test meetings and participate in factory audits with key customers.
14. Complete other tasks arranged by superiors.
Supervisory Responsibilities – List Teams/Groups:
1. Managing the test system development department at UVN factory under Director’s assignments.
Qualifications - Knowledge & Experience:
1. Familiarity with Firmware, ARM, PLC, UART/HID control is a plus.
2. Knowledge of ISO16949, APQP, PPAP in automotive manufacturing environment is a plus.
3. Fixture/Jig design experience, familiar with the pneumatic/clamp structure design.
4. Good understanding of standard/non-standard fixture/station structure (RF/Audio/IR/Programming).
5. Rich experience of fixture parts/module selection.
6. Familiar with Pro-E/UG/CAD (at least one of them).
7. Concept DFM design at the beginning of project and review/validate fixture on-site.
8. Good office and presentation skills (PPT/Excel).
9. CNC fixture design/manufacture experience will be plus.
Education, Licenses & Certification:
To be successful in applying for this role, the candidate should meet the following requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
2. Good English proficiency.
3. Demonstrated experience managing a test engineering team in a fast-paced environment.
4. Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams located globally.
5. Able to recommend, present, defend and advocate for test solutions to senior management.
6. Prefer at least 3 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing test environment.
7. Test fixture design/manufacturing experience.
8. Hands-on test experience and understanding of how to test RF and audio products (i.e. Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi, etc.).
9. Familiarity with testing consumer IOT products such as thermostats, sensors, alarms and remote controls.
10. Extensive programming experience with common languages such as Python, C#, and LabVIEW.
11. Extensive experience programming test instruments for production testing.
12. Knowledge and understanding of common test and measurement equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
13. Research and recommend solutions to complex production test problems.
14. Familiar with electronic circuit design and NPI development process before mass production.
15. Familiar with fast design of hardware for product testing.
Familiar with QA metrics such as Cpk and Gage R&R analysis and their use in production testing.

1. 8h/day, 48h/week.
2. To be busy and work in high- pressure environment.
3. Usually work in a good environment, cool air-conditioner, sometimes go on business trips.
