Key Responsibilities
Database Administration & Infrastructure Management
- Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise database environments, including Oracle, SQL Server, MariaDB, and Tibero.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot database systems across Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
- Perform daily database administration activities to ensure system availability, reliability, and performance.
- Diagnose database performance bottlenecks and implement tuning and optimization strategies.
- Manage database security administration, including user access controls, auditing, and compliance requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Create and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency.
- Perform basic Unix/Linux system administration functions supporting database infrastructure.
Technical Leadership
- Establish database infrastructure standards, best practices, and lifecycle management processes.
- Evaluate and implement emerging database technologies and architectural solutions.
- Design and contribute to enterprise-wide database infrastructure initiatives and implementation strategies.
- Conduct technical analysis, business analysis, integration testing, and performance testing.
