We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Body Design & Release Engineer to join our team. As a Body Design & Release Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of body components and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate design and development of body systems, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the design and release processes.
The area we are seeking currently to cover is Vision Lighting components.

Requirements
The Body D&R Engineer is responsible for the component and system level design, development, validation, timing and production release of the following areas:
- Vision Lighting components.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years in reviewing, validating, and releasing designs for automotive components (Body).
- Experience or advanced knowledge on automotive cameras and/or automotive lighting is very valuable
- Experience or advanced knowledge on metal shell or frame of the vehicle, battery trays, upperbody, underbody, seals, metallic floor, roof, pillars and panels.
- Experience or advanced knowledge with materials such as: Steel, Aluminium.
- Experience or advanced knowledge in the following processes: welding, riveting, clinching, bonding, laser brazing, paint process
- CATIA V5/3DX or NX (for 3D/2D model review).
- PLM (Teamcenter) (documentation and release management).
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- PBOM, eBOM, DVP&R, and technical sheets management.
Language: Advanced English (technical comprehension and international team communication).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs.
- Knowledge of style freeze processes and theme evaluation.
- In-plant experience (tool tryouts, assembly, program launch).
- Familiarity with automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).

Skills Required
