Junior Qlik Developer position
We are looking for a Junior Qlik Developer to support the lead analytics specialist. The proposed role will focus on administrative tasks, development, report building, on-prem server support, cloud support, and other duties necessary to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the analytics services department.
Junior Qlik Developer's responsibilities are:
The Junior Qlik Developer will assist in the development, maintenance, and support of QlikView and Qlik Sense applications. The role requires a foundational understanding of Qlik products, including Qlik Sense Enterprise (on-premises and cloud), Qlik NPrinting, and Qlik Automation. The Junior Qlik Developer will work closely with senior developers and business stakeholders to create optimized data models, advanced visualizations, and automated reporting solutions.
Development & Maintenance:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of QlikView and Qlik Sense applications.
- Work with QVD files to optimize data harvesting and storage.
- Utilize loops and other scripting techniques to automate data loading and transformation processes.
- Create and maintain advanced visualizations and dashboards in Qlik Sense.
Data Integration & Reporting:

Assist in integrating data from various sources (databases, flat files, APIs) into Qlik applications.

Qlik Cloud Excel-Addin reporting templates

Qlik Pixel Perfect

Work with Qlik NPrinting to automate report generation and distribution.
Support, Administrative & Troubleshooting:
- Provide support for existing Qlik applications, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Qlik Billing audit.
- License Management.
- Assist in resolving user issues related to Qlik applications.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior developers, products team, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions with the development team.
Documentation:
- Document data models, scripts, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with the latest Qlik features, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in Qlik Sense, Qlik NPrinting, and Qlik Automation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience with QlikView and/or Qlik Sense (internship or academic projects are acceptable).
- Certifications: Qlik Sense Business Analyst or Qlik Sense Data Architect certification is a plus.
Skills required:
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc) for data storage and processing.
- Intermediary knowledge of SQL for querying databases (MS SQL, PostGres, [NoSQL advantageous]).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
