As a Custody Client Facing Operations Associate in Securities Services, you will be responsible for end-to-end query resolution for custody clients, covering settlements, corporate actions, tax, and income. You will build strong client relationships, host training sessions, and use data analytics tools to identify client trends and operational risk indicators. You will partner with global and regional teams to drive issue resolution and contribute to the presentation of operational metrics to business stakeholders and clients. Your work will directly support client satisfaction and the overall health of the service delivery relationship.
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract for maternity cover. While there is potential for contract extension or conversion to a permanent role depending on business needs, this is not guaranteed — we encourage you to apply only if you are comfortable with this arrangement.
Job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end resolution of client queries across settlements, corporate actions, tax, and income, coordinating closely with operations teams on processes and required actions.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding client behavior and requirements, and host relevant training sessions to support client capability.
- Analyze client transactional data using digital tools and data analytics software to identify trends, behaviors, and key operational risk and control metrics.
- Contribute to the preparation and presentation of operational data metrics for business stakeholders and external client interactions.
- Identify service requests and service delivery issues for the client services team to address, including daily activities that may impact client satisfaction.
- Communicate with clients via email and phone, and attend client meetings and calls alongside the client services team.
- Monitor risk indicators and ensure both the firm and the client are aware of issues that may have an adverse financial or reputational impact.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working at a custodian, brokerage, or asset management firm.
- Strong client service, communication, and delivery skills in both Korean and English.
- Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end transaction lifecycle in custody operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the initiative to drive change and strengthen controls.
- Ability to anticipate issues, escalate proactively, and drive initiatives through to resolution.
- Ability to work closely with business partners and engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines, and adapt in a changing business environment.
- Control-focused mindset with a solid understanding of operational and program risk
