ROLE
The Webmaster/Web Developer reports to the Directors of the Research Divisions Economic analysis of Climate Impacts and Policy – ECIP, Sustainable Earth Modelling Economics – SEME, and Risk Assessment and Adaptation Strategies - RAAS and is responsible for performing functional analysis for the development of web interfaces, ensuring effective and user-friendly designs, and maintaining our web systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Webmaster/Web Developer will support the Research Divisions ECIP, SEME and RAAS , with:

  • Website Design and Layout, Implementation,
  • Content Management System (CMS) Administration,
  • Website Maintenance,
  • Server and Hosting Management,
  • SEO Optimization,
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging,
  • User Experience (UX) Optimization,
  • Security Management
  • Database Management,
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Backup and Recovery


REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Webmaster/Web Developer.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Accuracy and good analytical skills.


DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
 

  • Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
  • Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience.
  • Welfare package, for minimum 12 months contract.
  • Flexible working time as per internal policies.
  • Support during the immigration process, if needed

The Foundation Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change (CMCC) is a research centre on climate science and policy.
The CMCC:
