Job Summary
As a Medical Specialist at Lilly (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd., you will be responsible for providing scientific and medical expertise to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the accurate and ethical dissemination of medical information for Lilly's pharmaceutical products.
Job Responsibilities
* Serve as a medical and scientific expert for assigned therapeutic areas and Lilly products.
* Develop and maintain strong scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and medical institutions.
* Deliver scientific presentations and conduct medical discussions with HCPs in a compliant and ethical manner.
* Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from HCPs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines.
* Provide medical input and support to cross-functional teams, including commercial, marketing, regulatory, and clinical development.
* Participate in medical education activities, symposia, and advisory board meetings.
* Monitor and analyze medical literature and clinical trial data relevant to Lilly's products and therapeutic areas.
* Contribute to the development and review of medical materials, such as slide decks, abstracts, and publications.
* Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Job Qualifications
* Medical degree (M.D.) or Ph.D. in a relevant life science discipline.
* Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, or clinical practice.
* Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and translate complex medical information into clear, concise messages.
* Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals.
* Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken).
* Strong ethical compass and commitment to compliance.
* Ability to travel as required.
