Associate Video Producer supporting YC videos, podcasts, interviews, and editorial projects from research through publication. Responsibilities include guest research and coordination, pre-interviews, editorial writing, scheduling, production documentation, asset organization, editing short-form clips, publishing across YouTube and podcast platforms, and assisting with shoot-day logistics and equipment. The role requires strong startup and technology knowledge, excellent organization, hands-on media-production experience, and willingness to work onsite, travel occasionally, and work weekends when needed.

Research, write, and edit content about startups, technology, AI, science, and the future. Develop ideas for articles, videos, podcasts, and experimental editorial formats; analyze datasets for trends; interview experts and founders; and translate complex technical subjects into clear, engaging stories. The role requires strong editorial judgment, technical curiosity, excellent writing, and collaboration with YC partners and the Media team.

Welcomes founders, guests, and employees; manages check-ins, appointments, inquiries, deliveries, mail, packages, and reception-area readiness. Coordinates with vendors, cleaning crews, workplace teams, and security personnel while following visitor, emergency, and evacuation procedures. Requires strong communication, organization, judgment, reliability, attention to detail, and comfort using email, calendars, and spreadsheets in a busy on-site office environment.
