Develop and maintain reliable embedded flight and payload software for spacecraft missions. Responsibilities include software requirements, architecture, coding, command and control systems, subsystem integration, unit and automated testing, documentation, hardware integration, and peer mentorship. The role requires Rust or C/C++ experience, asynchronous Rust, embedded ARM development, processor optimization, and software development process leadership.

Develop and lead embedded flight software for spacecraft missions using Rust or C/C++. Responsibilities include software architecture, requirements, command and control systems, hardware integration, automated testing, CI pipelines, documentation, and system integration. The role also provides technical mentorship and leads test campaigns for reliable, fault-tolerant space and payload software.

Provides technical leadership for complex space missions spanning spacecraft, ground, launch, mission operations, and mission design. Owns the technical baseline, requirements, interfaces, architecture, technical risks, systems documentation, customer presentations, and major program reviews. Supports SAR and remote sensing mission design, modeling and simulation, flight operations, ground-system sustainment, software maintenance, customer training, and acceptance activities while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, partners, program leadership, and customers.
