UJA-Federation of NY Benefits Overview

Provides administrative, donor-support, event, research, and analytical assistance to the Philanthropic Leadership Group. Responsibilities include maintaining donor databases, generating gift reports, preparing fundraising materials, coordinating meetings and site visits, tracking event attendance and prospects, responding to donor inquiries, documenting interactions, and supporting calendars and general office operations.

Leads strategic planning and grantmaking for Jewish Life initiatives, managing grant portfolios, funding opportunities, proposal reviews, due diligence, evaluation, and grantee relationships. Partners with volunteer planning committees, facilitates strategic and community engagement processes, develops recommendations, and represents the organization with donors, community leaders, and partner organizations. Collaborates across departments while managing communications, records, and Salesforce workflows.

Build and manage donor and prospect relationships through face-to-face solicitations, fundraising events, educational programs, volunteer projects, and missions. Develop strategies to increase annual campaign revenue, oversee a major annual event, support leadership committees, maintain donor records, and research prospective individuals and companies. The role requires strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and event-coordination skills, plus commitment to UJA-Federation’s mission.
